the scope
Shopping da Gávea is one of the oldest cult shopping centres in Rio de Janeiro’s south zone. After thirty years it was about time to renovate the shopping centre, both the interior and the exterior. The design for the façade integrates the shopping centre with the new parking building on top of it. The façade has 12 new positions for billboards, all lighted from the back. We reorganized the urban area around the entrance; taxis have their own lane now and are separated from the lane for loading and unloading.
