the challenge
These clients wanted to have a “traditional cuccina italiana” with everything that it represents. Tablecloths in red and white, things from food to panels hanging from the roof, and a brick pizza oven in the dining area. The wine list, fresh ingredients and spices were also the most important elements.
the solution
We created a modern-rustic cozy well shaped space, mixing neutral materials with the most important references and features that represented this brand. The first step was to create a big panel made with wine-bottle bottoms that were illuminated and placed all the way from the roof top, covering the wall to the bottom, two floors bellows. We also created red couches in concrete niches.
the rooftop is a differentiated space with high glass ceiling especially designed for groups or people that want to have a break form the city’s rush. it gives us another option since natural bright light shines during the day and creates a cozy atmosphere.
together with Gina Elimelek we developed exclusive prints used on the walls, restrooms and stairs; these are bottle stoppers, grains, spices and other ingredients that can make your mouth water.
the custom brick wood-fire oven was made especially to bake the most delicious pizza. the varnished wood logs decorate the back wall.
the wall of lights is designed with recycled wine bottles. there special lighting effects call for a soft and intimate atmosphere. we wanted customers to feel comfortable and cozy. it looks beautiful and is very effective!
